Tasks Not Included in Regular House Cleaning
Weschoon’s regular house cleaning service is designed to maintain a clean, hygienic and comfortable home through routine tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping and wiping accessible surfaces. It is suitable for properties that are already in reasonably maintained condition and need ongoing cleaning rather than intensive restoration.
Certain tasks require additional time, specialised equipment or more intensive cleaning methods and are therefore not included in regular/basic cleaning. Depending on the task, you may need to book our deep cleaning service or a separate specialty cleaning service.
Below is an overview of the tasks excluded from regular cleaning.
A) Floors
Grout Cleaning: Intensive cleaning of grout lines between floor tiles to remove embedded dirt, staining or buildup is not included.
Floor Polishing: Polishing, buffing or restoring the shine of floors requires a separate specialist service.
Floor Scrubbing: Intensive floor scrubbing to remove stubborn stains, marks or accumulated dirt is excluded.
Carpet Shampooing: Shampooing or extraction cleaning of carpets requires specialised equipment and a separate cleaning service.
Carpet Stain and Odour Removal: Treating carpet stains or unpleasant odours is not included in routine vacuuming.
Moving Heavy Furniture and Appliances: Our cleaners do not move heavy furniture or appliances, including sofas, refrigerators and washing machines. Customers may move these items before the appointment if they want the areas underneath cleaned. Only lightweight, easily movable items, such as individual chairs, may be repositioned when safe.
B) Bathrooms
Stubborn Hard Water Stains: Removing persistent water marks from shower glass, tiles, taps or other bathroom surfaces requires intensive cleaning.
Stubborn Bathroom Stains: Deep scrubbing of heavily stained bathtubs, sinks, toilets and tiled surfaces is not part of regular cleaning.
Mould and Mildew Removal: Removing mould or mildew from walls, ceilings, shower areas or other surfaces requires a separately assessed cleaning service.
Heavy Limescale Removal: Removing accumulated limescale from shower glass, taps, fixtures and tiles is excluded.
Intensive Tile and Grout Scrubbing: Detailed scrubbing of bathroom tiles and grout lines is not included.
Internal Drain Cleaning: Cleaning inside drains, clearing blockages or dismantling drainage components is not provided as part of regular cleaning.
C) Kitchens
Burnt-on Cooking Residue: Removing heavily baked-on grease, burnt food residue or stubborn deposits from cooking surfaces requires intensive cleaning.
Cabinet, Oven or Stove Liners: Installing, replacing or removing protective liners in cabinets, ovens or stoves is not included.
Stubborn Kitchen Stains: Intensive treatment of persistent food stains or discolouration on kitchen surfaces is excluded.
Heavy Degreasing: Removing thick grease buildup from cooker hoods, stovetops, tiles and other kitchen surfaces requires deep or specialised cleaning.
Interior Appliance Cleaning: Cleaning inside ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers and other appliances is not automatically included in regular house cleaning. These tasks require the appropriate appliance cleaning service.
D) General Areas, Including Bedrooms
Walls and Ceilings: Cleaning walls, ceilings and extensive marks on painted surfaces is not included.
Detailed Skirting Board Cleaning: Intensive cleaning or scrubbing of skirting boards is excluded from regular cleaning.
Doors and Door Frames: Detailed cleaning of interior doors, wardrobe doors and door frames is not included.
Organising Personal Belongings: Our cleaners do not organise, sort, arrange or put away clothing, toys, books or other personal belongings. Weschoon does not provide organising services.
Mould Removal: Treating mould on walls, ceilings, furniture or other surfaces requires a separate service assessment.
Ventilation Grilles and Filters: Detailed cleaning of ventilation grilles, extractor vents, air ducts and filters is excluded.
Personal Care Products and Accessories: Cleaners do not individually clean or rearrange toiletries, cosmetics, soap containers, toothbrush holders, product racks or similar personal accessories.
Shelves Containing Personal Items: Our cleaners do not empty shelves, cabinets or storage areas. Only exposed and accessible surfaces are cleaned.
Personal Electronics and Belongings: Cleaning laptops, mobile phones, electronic devices and other personal belongings is excluded.
What Should You Book Instead?
If your property has stubborn stains, heavy grease, accumulated limescale, deeply embedded dirt or other conditions requiring intensive cleaning, our deep cleaning service may be more suitable.

Stain removal cannot always be guaranteed, even when a more intensive service is booked.
Our cleaners do not move heavy furniture or household appliances. Customers who want these areas cleaned should make them accessible before the appointment.
