Our Commercial Cleaning Checklist

This commercial cleaning checklist shows the cleaning activities that will be carried out at your facility when you book our commercial cleaning services. Other cleaning requirements are available on request. Please note that basic cleaning means you want your space generally cleaned, while deep cleaning means you want your space cleaned with much detail and focus on every area and corner.

  • Vacuum all carpeted areas.
  • Vacuum or brush sofa and chairs per specifications.
  • Dust or wipe wall hangings per specifications.
  • Dust accessible windowsills, blinds.
  • Dust all cleared surfaces including desks, computer, file cabinets, and other flat surfaces.
  • Remove visible cobwebs.
  • Perform high/low dusting in all accessible areas.
  • Wipe light switches, door handles, frames, and doors.
  • Vacuum or dust mop hardwood floors including stairs.
  • Vacuum or brush desk cloth chairs, wipe arms/edges and dust chair bases as needed.
  • Mop hardwood floors including stairs.
  • Clean glass surfaces throughout office.
  • Clean telephones.
  • Clean water fountains and water coolers.
  • Empty and re-line wastepaper baskets and other receptacles.
  • Remove waste materials for sanitation pickup.
  • Clean and polish glass doors in entrance and foyer area.
  • Vacuum entrance matting.
  • Vacuum all carpet floors to remove dust and debris.
  • Clean and dust reception desk.
  • Clean TV screens with screensafe cleaner.
  • Vacuum hard floors and mop clean with disinfectant cleaner.
  • Vacuum stairs and elevator areas and mop clean with disinfectant cleaner.
  • Re-organize reception area  (magazines, etc…).
  • Disinfect the surfaces that people touch: phones, lamps, keyboards, fax machines, copiers, staplers, and more
  • Dust filing cabinets, tables, bookshelves and all hard surfaces.
  • Vacuum all carpets and sweep hard surface flooring.
  • Dust desks and all flat surfaces.
  • Clean computer screens and dust keyboards.
  • Dust all computer areas, including fax machines and photocopiers.
  • Wipe and disinfect all telephones.
  • Empty all bins and replace bin liners.
  • Disinfect the surfaces that people touch: phones, lamps, keyboards, fax machines, copiers, staplers, and more.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
  • Remove cobwebs and dust blinds.
  • Clean and disinfect sink and polish chrome.
  • Clean and disinfect countertops.
  • Wipe outside of cabinets.
  • Clean and disinfect all table surfaces and chairs.
  • Dust or wipe wall hangings as appropriate.
  • Spot wipe hand prints, and soil from around doors and door handles.
  • Vacuum carpets.
  • Wipe down  kitchen appliances, coffee makers, toaster, microwave etc.
  • Empty all trashcans and place new garbage bags.
  • Refill hand soap, dishwashing liquid, and kitchen towels (on request).
  • Check the water cooler and ensure there is water and cups for people to drink (on request).
  • Sweep and mop floors with approved germicidal detergent solutions.
  • Remove cobwebs.
  • Clean and polish all mirrors, shelves, etc.
  • Disinfect all bathroom surfaces, including towels, hand dryer accessories, and entry handles.
  • Clean and disinfect commodes and urinals with approved germicidal detergent solutions
  • Wipe partitions, tile walls, dispensers, and doors.
  • Empty and clean towel receptacles.
  • Remove waste paper, and other refuse for sanitation collection.
  • Replenish toilet tissue, hand soap, and towel dispensers (on request).
  • Clean and disinfect the toilets.
  • Clean and disinfect the sinks
  • Clean off hard surfaces, discard paper towels and other trash not in the recycling bin, and then disinfect all hard surfaces.
  • Change linens and make the bed.
  • Dust off corners of room up to ceiling edges.
  • Wipe down counters, cabinets, pictures, lamp shades, ceiling fans, etc.
  • Dust off furniture.
  • Wipe and clean inside windows and blinds.
  • Wipe and polish mirrors, glass doors, door knobs.
  • Vacuum floor, rugs, including under the bed.
  • Mop floor with disinfectant cleaner.
  • Empty waste bins.
  • Vacuum and mop floors.
  • Remove cobwebs.
  • Clean doors and frames.
  • Dust all furniture, shelves and décor.
  • Clean welcome mats and put in the right place.
  • Clean main entrance glass doors (if present).
  • Empty outdoor trashcans (on request).
