Our Residential Cleaning Checklist

This residential cleaning checklist shows the cleaning activities that will be carried out at your home when you book residential cleaning services. If you have added any extra services, it will be carried out precisely as stated in your quote. Please note that basic cleaning means you want your space generally cleaned, while deep cleaning means you want your space cleaned with much detail and focus on every area and corner.

  • Vacuum all floors, carpets, and rugs.
  • Mop hard floors.
  • Clean glass surfaces.
  • Dust all furniture, shelves and décor.
  • Dust lamps, light fixtures, and ceiling fans.
  • Wipe down doors and doorframes.
  • Clean out all corners for cobwebs.
  • Vacuum sofa and other upholstered furniture and remove lint.
  • Empty and replace wastebasket.
  • Clean coffee tables and end tables.
  • Reposition furniture as necessary to vacuum and put it back in place afterwards.
  • Straighten newspapers, magazines and books.
  • Clean and disinfect the toilet, bathtubs and showers.
  • Clean drawer and cabinet faces.
  • Dust and clean mirrors, picture frames and TV.
  • Dust tops of kitchen cabinets and appliances.
  • Wipe down countertops and cabinets.
  • Clean stovetop and burners.
  • Clean, scrub and disinfect sink.
  • Shine stainless steel appliances.
  • Sweep/ vacuum and mop floor.
  • Clean cupboard fronts, dining tables and chairs.
  • Disinfect countertops and backsplash.
  • Spot clean door frames.
  • Empty, disinfect trash can and replace liner.
  • Wipe down all appliance surfaces, including dishwasher, toaster, oven, top of refrigerator, freezer, stovetop, and range hood.
  • Dust all surfaces, including light fixtures and décor.
  • Clean and disinfect shower, bathtub, and sinks (inside and out).
  • Clean and disinfect toilet bowl, seat, lid, tank, flush handle, and base.
  • Clean and shine all mirrors, and chrome.
  • Scrub and sanitize toilets, interior and exterior.
  • Remove hair and dirt from bathtub drain.
  • Wipe cabinet fronts, fixtures, and countertops.
  • Vacuum and mop floor.
  • Empty and replace wastebasket.
  • Clean shower rack/soap dishes.
  • Clean glass surfaces, and shine the faucets.
  • Vacuum and mop the floor.
  • Spot clean door frames
  • Dust off corners of room up to ceiling edges, cabinets, shelves, etc.
  • Wipe, and clean furniture including TV and such other furniture.
  • Vacuum chairs and couch.
  • Dust radiators.
  • Polish glass,  door knobs, or floor.
  • Vacuum or mop the floor including under counters and cabinets (if accessible).
  • Dust corners of room up to ceiling edges.
  • Dust counters, cabinets, pictures, lamp shades, ceiling fans, etc.
  • Dust furniture.
  • Wipe and polish mirrors, glass doors, door knobs.
  • Vacuum floor, rugs, including under the bed.
  • Empty waste bins.
  • Vacuum and mop floors.
  • Remove cobwebs.
  • Clean doors and frames.
  • Dust all furniture, shelves and décor.
